Nick — founder of NK Digital
About me

Built by one person.
Held to a high standard.

I'm Nick, a student studying alongside running NK Digital — and despite my age, I've delivered sites that live businesses genuinely rely on to bring in customers.

When you work with me, you're not just getting a website. You're supporting my education and helping me build real, hands-on experience toward my goal: becoming a software engineer. Every project is a chance for me to learn, and I take that seriously — which means you get someone who cares about getting it right, not just getting it done.

I handle everything myself — design, code, and communication — so there's no account manager, no outsourcing, no middleman. Just direct, honest work from someone who wants your project to succeed as much as you do.

How it works

From quote
to launch.

No jargon, no surprises — here's exactly what happens once you get in touch.

1

Free quote & scope

Get in touch, tell me what you need — I'll quote you a fixed price for the right tier. No obligation.

2

25% deposit & build begins

A 25% deposit locks in your slot, then I get straight to work building your site.

3

Live preview before you pay

You get a live preview link to see exactly what you're getting — request changes before anything's final.

4

Final payment & launch

Happy with everything? Final balance settled, site goes live, and you get everything you need handed over.

Domains

Your web address,
your call.

A quick rundown of your two options, and how it works if you go custom.

Free subdomain
yoursite.pages.dev / yoursite.netlify.app
  • £0 cost, live instantly
  • Good for a demo or testing phase
  • No renewal to remember or pay for
  • Zero setup — nothing to configure
  • Looks less professional to customers
  • Worse for Google search ranking and local SEO
  • Can't get a matching business email
  • Locked to that provider's branding, not yours
  • Harder for customers to remember and type
Custom domain
yourbusiness.co.uk / yourbusiness.com
  • Looks professional, builds trust
  • Better SEO, easier for customers to remember
  • Matching professional email address
  • You own it — move it to any host, any time
  • Protects your brand name from competitors
  • Costs money — typically ~£10–15/year
  • One extra step to set up (I handle the technical part)

If you want a custom domain

You buy the domain yourself and stay in full ownership of it — I never buy it on your behalf. Once you've got it, you give me access to your domain account so I can handle the DNS setup and connect it to your new site. If you'd rather skip this for now, that's completely fine too — we can launch on a free subdomain and add a custom one later whenever you're ready.

Reviews

Just getting started —
but not starting from nothing.

I'm early in building my track record, and I'd rather be upfront about that than pretend otherwise.

Nick has built us a very nice website that suit our business. He throughout whole time Nick was helpful, communicative, taken onboard our suggestions and implementing changes. We would strongly recommend his services.

LGM&E
Client

I value transparency — so rather than padding this section out, I'd rather show you the one genuine review I've got. Every project I take on helps me grow, and the more businesses I get to work with, the more this list will grow too. If you're one of the people who helps that happen, I won't forget it.

FAQ

Questions,

Everything I get asked, in one place — pick a category or scroll through.

Pricing & scope

Launch (£299+) gets you a single-page site with a booking or enquiry form, a photo gallery, and mobile-responsive build — delivered in 48–72 hours. Grow (£599+) adds multiple content sections, maps and booking integration, and structured lead-capture forms. Scale (£899+) is a full multi-page site with custom interactive tools and third-party integrations — the tier LGME and 1099 Worsley Squadron are built on. Full breakdowns are in the Pricing section above.

That's completely normal — tell me what you're trying to achieve and I'll recommend the right tier as part of your free quote. You're never locked in before you know the price.

No. The quoted price covers the build. The only separate cost is a domain if you choose a custom one (typically ~£10–15/year, paid directly to your registrar — I never mark this up or take a cut). Everything else is included.

Process & timeline

Once you've agreed a quote, a 25% deposit locks in your project slot and I start building straight away. The remaining balance is only due once you've seen and approved the live preview.

That's exactly what the live preview step is for — you tell me what to adjust before anything's final, and I make the changes. You only pay the final balance once you're actually happy with it.

Because you review a live preview before paying the final balance, this shouldn't happen — but if something's genuinely not working for you at that stage, we talk it through and I'll revise it. I'd rather get it right than rush you into paying for something you don't want.

Domains & hosting

No — you can launch on a free subdomain and add a custom one later whenever you're ready. See the Domains section above for a full breakdown of the trade-offs.

No problem — if you've already got a domain, you keep ownership and just give me DNS access so I can point it at your new site once it's ready. Your existing site stays live until the switch happens, so there's no downtime.

I deploy your site on fast, reliable hosting (Cloudflare Pages / Netlify, depending on the project) as part of the build. You're never locked into a platform you don't understand — I'll walk you through it.

Ownership & handover

Yes, entirely. Once the final balance is settled, the site and everything in it is yours — I don't retain any ongoing rights or control over it.

You get full access to your hosting account, your domain (if you bought one), and the complete source code for your site. Nothing is held back or gatekept.

After launch

Just get in touch — small tweaks are often quick and low-cost, and larger changes get their own fixed quote, same as the original build. No surprise fees.

Yes — the Scale tier includes ongoing support, and it's available as an add-on for other tiers too. We can agree what that looks like for your project as part of your quote.

Totally normal, and easy to handle — since you own the site outright, I can add new features, pages, or tools whenever you need them, quoted separately at that point.

Working with me

Fair question — I'd rather you judge me on the actual sites I've built than take my word for it. 1099 Worsley Squadron and LGME are live, real businesses relying on sites I built. I take every project seriously because it's building my career, not just a side gig.

You'll hear from me directly — no account manager, no outsourcing, no going quiet. If something's taking longer than expected or needs to change, I'll tell you as soon as I know, not after the fact.

Use the "Get a quote" button anywhere on this site, or head to the contact section below — I aim to reply quickly and there's no obligation to commit to anything.

terms-of-service.md

Terms of Service

Last updated: 25/07/2026

1. Agreement to these terms

By engaging NK Digital ("I", "me", "my") for web design or development services, you ("the client") agree to the terms set out below. If you do not agree, please do not proceed with a project.

2. The service

I design and build websites as described in the Pricing section of this site, or as otherwise agreed in writing (including via email or messaging) before work begins. Project scope, price, and delivery timeframe will be confirmed with you before any deposit is taken.

3. Payment

Projects require a 25% deposit before work begins, with the remaining balance due once you have reviewed and approved a live preview of the completed site. Prices quoted are starting points and may vary based on the final agreed scope.

No ownership, licence, or right to use any part of the website transfers to you, and the preview must not be used, copied, or deployed, until the full balance has been paid.

4. Handover and ownership

Once the final balance has been paid and the site has been handed over to you, ownership of the website and its associated assets transfers to you in full. You will be given the access needed to manage your hosting, domain, and site content independently.

This does not include any of my own pre-existing code, components, tools, or boilerplate used in building the site ("my background tools"). You receive a permanent licence to use these as part of your website, but I retain ownership of them and may reuse them in other projects.

5. Liability after handover

Once a project has been handed over and full payment received, NK Digital ceases to be liable for, or responsible for, the ongoing operation, maintenance, security, hosting, or performance of the website. Responsibility for the website from that point forward rests entirely with you, the client. This includes (but is not limited to) issues arising from third-party hosting outages, domain expiry, third-party service changes, security vulnerabilities discovered after handover, or content you or others add to the site after handover.

6. Support after handover

If you require further help after a project has been handed over — including bug fixes, changes, updates, or new features — this is treated as new, separately chargeable work. Pricing for post-handover support will be quoted based on the work requested, in the same way as a new project. There is no assumption of free or ongoing support beyond what is explicitly agreed in writing for a specific project.

7. Client responsibilities

You are responsible for providing accurate content, timely feedback, and any necessary access (e.g. domain or hosting credentials) needed to complete the project. Delays caused by late responses may affect delivery timeframes.

8. Cancellation

If a project is cancelled after the deposit has been paid but before completion, the deposit is non-refundable. This reflects the time, capacity, and administrative work already committed to your project at the point work begins, rather than a penalty for cancelling.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, NK Digital's liability in connection with any project is limited to the amount paid for that project. NK Digital is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including loss of business, revenue, or data. Nothing in this clause limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else which cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

11. Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent to nickkalis02@gmail.com.

This is a general template and has not been reviewed by a solicitor. For a project of significant value, both parties may wish to seek independent legal advice before agreeing to these terms.
